Guest roomsRooms
Can I check in early in the morning?
You can complete check-in early in the morning, but rooms are available from
15:00.
Check-in opens at 7:00. If you plan to arrive early, please let us know in advance.
Can I check in late at night?
Check-in normally closes at 20:00. If you will arrive later, please contact us in advance.
Can I pick up my lift ticket before check-in?
Yes, we can hand over lift tickets before check-in. Payment is required first, so even if
you are in a hurry, please complete registration and payment beforehand.
Please allow plenty of
time.
(For guests on plans that include lift or gondola tickets only.)
Does my room have a bath?
Some room types have a bathtub and some do not (every room has a shower booth or a unit bath). If your room has no bathtub, please use the large bath on B1.
Do you have rooms for long stays?
Yes. From the December 2026 renewal, we have long-stay rooms with a washing machine.
Do I need to bring loungewear?
Rooms have robes for adults.
Please bring sleepwear for children, including those
sharing a bed.
Can I bring my pet?
Dogs can stay at the hotel during the green season only.
We are sorry, but pets other
than dogs cannot stay.
Dogs stay in a separate dog room, not in your guest room, and there is a
separate charge.
Please bring your dog's food and treats.
(From December to May the dog hotel is
used as the ski locker room and is not available.)
Can I smoke?
The hotel is non-smoking. Please use the smoking area near the 1F entrance.

Is breakfast a buffet?
Breakfast is usually a buffet, but on days with few guests it may be served as a set menu.
What is on the breakfast menu?
Japanese and Western dishes, cereal, bread and more.
Is dinner available?
Dinner requires a reservation. Please book by 20:00 the day before.

Is there a large public bath?
Yes, on B1. It is free for hotel guests.
Can I use the bath before check-in?
The bath is closed for cleaning from 10:00 to 15:00, so you can use it after check-in.
Can I use the bath after check-out?
As a rule it is not available after check-out, but from 15:00 you can use it as a day visitor for ¥1,000 (¥1,200 for non-guests).
Can day visitors use the bath?
Yes. It is a public bath: from 15:00, ¥1,000 after check-out, or ¥1,200 for visitors who are not staying.
Is it a natural hot spring?
Yes. It is Hakuba Himekawa Onsen.
Is there a private family bath?
We are sorry, there is no family bath.
Is there a cold plunge?
Yes, in the men's bath. It uses groundwater drawn from 300 m below.
Is there a drying room for ski gear?
Yes. A ski drying room opens with the December 2026 renewal.
There are also ski lockers
for your gear. (Please note the lockers do not lock.)
Can I tune my skis?
We have a table for tuning, but no tools, so please bring your own if needed.
Is there a lounge or karaoke?
There is a lounge with a fireplace on the ground floor. House guests can enjoy a
complimentary welcome drink (hand-ground coffee and sweets) and night service (red wine, white wine
and local Hakuba sake). In the early evening there is also a happy hour (draught beer
¥500).

Is it cold inside the hotel?
Guest rooms are heated. Some areas such as corridors are not, so please bring warm clothes.

Are discounted lift tickets available?
There are no lift ticket discounts. Lift tickets are only available as part of package plans.
I booked a plan with a 1-day lift ticket. Can I change it to 2 days?
Yes, for an additional charge. *Prices vary by season.
Do you rent ski equipment?
We do not rent ski equipment, but we can recommend rental shops nearby.
Is there a discount on ski rental?
We can introduce you to our partner rental shop, where you get a discounted rate.
I am visiting in March. Will there be snow?
In a typical year, snow starts to settle in mid-December and thins out toward the end of
March.
That said, Hakuba Goryu ski resort stays open every year until Golden Week in early May.
I heard there is not much snow. Will I be charged to cancel?
Cancellation fees apply regardless of snowfall or slope conditions.
If you need to
cancel, please let us know as early as possible.
I am driving in December–February. Are regular tires OK?
If you drive to Hakuba in winter, winter (studless) tires are a must.
Roads are very
slippery and can lead to accidents.
I am driving in March–May. Are regular tires OK?
It depends on snowfall, so please ask us closer to your trip.

Are discounted gondola tickets available?
Yes. We sell green-season gondola tickets at a discount.
We carry round-trip gondola
tickets for Hakuba Goryu Alpine Botanical Garden, Happo-one nature trail, Tsugaike Nature Park and
Iwatake Mountain View, cheaper than the regular price.

Are there discount tickets for activities such as hot-air balloons?
During the green season we offer plans that include activities.
Activities require
advance booking, so please book a plan or call us to add one.
There are no discount tickets, but
booking through a plan is a little cheaper than the regular price.
When do the cherry blossoms bloom?
In a typical year, from late April to Golden Week in early May. *Timing depends on the temperature.
When are the autumn leaves at their best?
In a typical year, from late September to mid-October.

Can you store my luggage?
Yes, free of charge, in the luggage area in front of the front desk.
Can I send a parcel from the hotel?
The front desk has Yamato Transport forms, cash-on-delivery (recipient pays) only.
We
can also send parcels with return forms you have prepared.
Can you receive a parcel for me?
Yes, free of charge, at the front desk. Writing your stay date on the form helps us hand it over smoothly.
Can I rent a car?
In winter only, you can rent a car (Nissan X-Trail, 5 seats) and pick it up and return it at the hotel. For rates and hours, see Facilities & Services for details.

What is the nearest station?
The nearest station is JR Kamishiro, 20 minutes on foot. *A paid village loop bus runs in
some seasons.

Do you offer pick-up service?
We are sorry, the hotel does not currently offer pick-up service.
In winter, a shuttle
bus runs between JR Kamishiro Station and Escal Plaza (2 minutes' walk from the hotel). This season's
timetable is not yet published, so please ask us by phone or email.
Is there parking?
Yes, for up to 30 standard cars.
Can I reserve a parking space?
We are sorry, parking cannot be reserved. It is first come, first served on the day.
If
it is full, we will direct you to another car park.
Can I park before check-in or after check-out?
Before check-in, yes, if there is space.
After check-out, we generally ask you to move
to the ski resort car park, as guests checking in that day will need the spaces.
On some dates you
may be able to stay until the evening, so please ask at the front desk.
